I would like to thank Andy Hansen for the way in which he helped me cope with and plan my mother's funeral.
At an extremely challenging time, he gave me the compassion and sympathetic listening that enabled me to navigate each part of the service.
Andy conducted the service professionally and was able to understand how best to honour mum, with his own carefully crafted words working as a perfect adjunct to the eulogy I had written. The wonderful book that he put together for me afterwards is testimony to his dedication and commitment, and will be something I always treasure.
Thank you so much, Andy.

We at Townsend House would like to commend Andrew Hansen on his amazing work for Peter McGregors funeral on Monday 17th March 2025.
Andy came to our home and sat down with me to discuss Peters funeral, we were thinking there would be 7 or 8 of us from the home and no one else, he had no family. When Andy and I sat down to talk about Peter I had a lot of photos from Peter being in the Military.
We went through the photos and Andy said ok I will take care of this.
We spoke about what Peter was like, what he loved and how proud a man he was. Andy came back to me a few days later and told me that the RAF and British Legion were going to be involved, then a few days after that we were told they had Veteran bikers that were going to follow his casket, a RAF flag to be placed on his casket along with two wreaths.
Andy had also set up flag bearers and a bugler from the RAF. There were over 50 veterans that came some with so many medals you would think they would tip them over. The Veteran bikers carried Peters casket. Andy had also reached out to Peters Squadron 617 (The Dam Busters) who also came, we ended up having standing room only and Veterans from London, Bristol, Gloucestershire, and as far as Wales.
It was amazing and very emotional, if you were to hear his eulogy about Peter it was spot on. He didn't miss anything. All this was possible because Andy went the extra mile for a Veterans passing with no family and us only thinking there would be 7 of us.
Thank you Andy for taking the time to make Peter have a proud send off.
A heartfelt Thank you from all of us at Townsend House.
You truly did an awesome job........
